We are thrilled to offer you these cool variegated Vanilla Orchids for the first time. This is the plant that Vanilla extract comes from! This evergreen vine will need a sturdy structure once it reaches 4′. It has thick stems and small greenish to yellow flowers that appear in clusters only once a year. The fruits are long, thin pods that contain thousands of tiny, black seeds. Vanilla has fleshy aerial roots that cling and allow it to climb. Provide shade to partial sun, best kept between 50F to 95F.
