Carnivorous Nepenthes ventricosa x ampullaria ‘Black Miracle’
This is a stunning hybrid of Nepenthes ventricosa and Nepenthes amplullaria ‘Black Miracle’ with squat dark red to black pitchers and striped peristomes. This hybrid is showing more red than black at the moment and the foliage is also developing some very dark red to black colors!
Thrives in a humid environment and requires a well-lit spot, preferably with bright, indirect light. Known for its insect-trapping prowess, this unique and visually appealing Nepenthes variety adds a touch of intrigue to any carnivorous plant collection. Use rainwater, distilled water or reverse osmosis water. Be careful with bottled water as these may contain salt which will kill your pitcher plant.
