Piper nigrum “Black Pepper”
Yes you read that right– this is the actual plant that will grow and produce peppercorns! Depending on the time and method of harvest, white, green, red and black peppercorns can be collected and cracked into your very own black pepper! Very fast-growing vine that will benefit with a trellis or support.
*Note to Customers: Pipers excrete small, round, semi-translucent grains known as “growth sugars”. These growth sugars are completely harmless to the plant and having growth sugars present is actually a tell-tale sign that that plant is healthy and thriving in its current growing conditions.
