Philodendron ‘Summer Glory’
Philodendron ‘Summer Glory’ is a colorful and robust new hybrid with smooth, semi-glossy foliage, and an upright, arching growth habit. Striking red cataphylls surround emerging leaves. New growth emerges coppery pink, matures to a dark green with a faint streaking in yellow-green and a red leaf margin. Purplish pink venation on younger foliage, fading with age.
‘Summer Glory’ is the hybrid of an unnamed Bob McColley Philodendron hybrid & pollen donor Philodendron gloriosum, bred by the incredible Lariann Garner.
Note to customer: Do not repot right away. Provide sufficient light and warmth, allow a few weeks to get acclimated to its new environment before disturbing the roots. We have some growing in our original mix and in our aroid mix.
~Do Not place in full sun. Though many Philodendron can be acclimated to full sun, our Philodendron have been grown under shaded, greenhouse conditions.
~Philodendron are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
