Philodendron recurvifolium
Philodendron recurvifolium grows best when given a support to climb, elongated internodes between growth points are broadly sheathed and stretch out and forward then recurve back giving it a snake like appearance as it climbs. Suboblong to cordate leaf blades emerge green then develop to a bluish green with a red to purple margin, semi elliptic short posterior lobes are separated by an open sub acute sinus. The whole plant except for the leaf blades is sprinkled with irregular punctiform dots. Truly a marvel to watch as it grows!
