Hoya blashernaezii
Hoya blashernaezii is named after plant collector Blas Hernaez, who discovered this hoya at the Island of Catanduanes near Luzon in the Philippines. This easy care hoya has a compact, shrubby growth habit. The foliage is medium green with light green veins, and new growth develops a red tinge when grown in high light. Under ideal conditions will bloom regularly throughout the year with 10-30 cup shaped flowers per umbel on long peduncles. Cuttings propagated for this batch came from our mother plant Hoya blashernaezzii subsp. siariae, which has dusty rose colored blooms with a dark pink center as seen in last pic.
