Fern Staghorn Platycerium bifurcatum ‘Netherlands’
Platycerium is a genus of epiphytic ferns known for their uniquely shaped fronds. They have tufted roots growing from a short rhizome that produces two types of fronds – basal fronds, which act as a shield and protect the roots, and fertile fronds arching out from the rhizome, which are antler shaped and bear spores on the undersides. These plants enjoy bright, indirect light. This plant does not like to dry out, so water it often but make sure the soil does not become soggy either
