Euphorbia ‘Variegated Fire Sticks’
Beautiful and care free plant that is perfect for beginners and collectors alike.
We obtained these plants from a local vendor as Euphorbia tirucalli but we believe they could actually be Euphorbia alluaudii, commonly referred to as ‘Cat Tails’. They both are considered “Pencil Cactus”, and bloom small yellow flowers from the tips of the stems.
Likes regular watering during active growth season, decrease water in winter but do not allow soil to completely dry out. Euphorbia sap is mildly toxic so should be kept away from children and pets. Some people are more sensitive than others, so we suggest wearing gloves when handling/pruning. Slowly acclimate to higher light as these have been grown in a shaded greenhouse.
